Keynote Speakers 2016

The following keynote speakers, all leading experts in one or several of the six disciplines of the Cybathlon 2016, will present their latest work at the Cybathlon Symposium. Their talks will be complemented by short talks and posters from junior researchers.

Short Talks

The following short talks were selected among the best abstracts submitted to the Cybathlon Symposium. They will highlight cutting-edge results from young international researchers, covering the six disciplines of the Cybathlon, as well as overarching themes.

Podium Discussion

We invite all participants to round off the symposium with a podium discussion on the topics of opportunities and challenges in the field of assistive technology, user acceptance, industry transfer, and financing.

Six distinguished participants from various backgrounds related to assistive technology will discuss the matters at hand:

Janine Geigele will moderate the discussion. She will also moderate the Cybathlon.
